* पितरों के निमित्त अग्नि में गाय के दूध से बनी खीर अर्पण करें. ब्राह्मण भोजन से पहले पंचबलि यानी गाय, कुत्ते, कौए, देवता और चींटी के लिए भोजन सामग्री पत्ते पर निकालें मान्यता है कि पितर इन्हीं पांच रूपों में धरती पर आते है और अपने संतान को आशीर्वाद देते है. AK Balaji chann
* दक्षिणाभिमुख (दक्षिण दिशा में मुंह रखकर ) कुश, जौ, तिल, चावल और जल लेकर संकल्प करें और एक या तीन ब्राह्मण को भोजन कराएं इसके बाद भोजन थाली अथवा पत्ते पर ब्राह्मण हेतु भोजन परोसे.
